Chinatown Bangkok
Our Airbnb was in Chinatown, and I finally got a chance to explore the neighborhood. I spent time walking around, taking in its charm and vibrant atmosphere.
I wandered through the bustling streets, soaking in the atmosphere, passing by shops that sold everything from traditional Chinese herbs.
Souvenirs—there were plenty of choices, ranging from keychains and magnets to handcrafted items and traditional products. I spent time browsing through the stalls to pick something special to take home.
Affordable jewelry on display—I bought some.
Food: Grilled pork balls to try. I was hungry and hadn’t had breakfast yet, so when I saw these, I decided to give them a try.
I was still walking around, enjoying the surroundings.
I enjoyed exploring Yaowarat, Bangkok’s Chinatown. I liked that there were many affordable items here and a lot of choices for food, clothing, and other goods. The look and feel were consistent with other Chinatowns I’ve visited before.
I was walking along the pedestrian path, looking at those neon signs. I wondered how vibrant it could be at night.
Taking a selfie to hold on to this moment and remember my time here.
On the way home, I saw this bakery. They were selling breads that looked delicious.
I bought some to try out.
