Damnoen Saduak Floating Market
This was our boat to the floating market. It costed us ฿3,000 for 2 hours.
Our driver drove us to their partner store. Here I took the opportunity to take a selfie.
I thought it was a fan! It turned out to be a hat when fully opened.
I thought the lighting here was good, and I looked nice in this hat. I was tempted to buy it but decided I wouldn’t really use it afterward. Taking a picture was already a good souvenir.
There were many stalls selling clothing, bags, souvenirs, food, and drinks along the river. This trip to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was an enjoyable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This was the main floating market, and it was so busy! There were so many boats around, and it was very tight. That bridge was the main photo spot, but we weren’t able to go there.
It was so lively—noisy, smoky, and I was sweaty. There were many people and boats in the area, bumper to bumper as we made our way through.
My mum was on Facebook Live while we traversed this jam-packed river, sharing our adventure with her friends online.
This was the first food I bought and ate at the floating market.
Some selections for Pad Thai and Fried Rice.
I chose Pad Thai with shrimp for ฿80. It was expensive at that price, but I still bought it for the experience.
They were selling these fragrant coconut pancakes, so we tried them.
It wasn’t so bad.
So, coconut ice cream for dessert.
Another overpriced food, but here I was.
More selfies as I looked at all these stalls and the items they were offering. It was great to see, and what a unique experience!
